NDA/CCH Shakes up Shakespeare….And it’s Funny This Time!

 

Park Hills, Kentucky, October 10, 2018 - NDA/CCH’s production of the Shakespearean comedy Much Ado About Nothing will take place Friday through Sunday, October 19th throughthe 21st, at Notre Dame Academy. The NDA/CCH Theatre program is comprised of a talented group of young people who are dedicated to the arts and telling stories via the stage. Their productions are performed, designed, and managed by students of both schools.

 

The war is over, and love and mischief are in the air! Leonato, a respectable nobleman, lives in idyllic Messina with his daughter, Hero, his niece, Beatrice, and her father Antonio. Leonato is preparing to welcome home from the war his friends Don Pedro, a prince, Claudio, a young nobleman, and Benedick, a clever man who is always making witty jokes. Don John, the illegitimate brother of Don Pedro, is sullen and bitter about his brother’s success, and plots to make trouble for everyone in Messina.

The show will run from October 19th to the 21st. Show times are 7 P.M. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 P.M. on Sunday. Ticket prices are $5 for students and $12 for adults. Order tickets online here . Tickets can also be purchased at the door 30 minutes prior to show time.
